The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA has enacted into law four bills adopted during the March parliamentary session. These include:

• Law N° 2018/001 of 06 April 2018 ratifying the Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation of Air Transport Companies between the Republic of Cameroon and the Federal Republic of Germany, signed in Yaounde on 24 August 2017;

• Law N° 2018/002 of 06 April 2018 ratifying the agreement for the establishment of the African Legal Support Facility, signed in Yaounde on 15 April 2009;

• Law N° 2018/003 of 06 April 2018 ratifying the General Agreement on Cooperation between the Republic of Cameroon and the Republic of South Africa, signed in Yaounde on 26 September 2006;
• and Law N° 2018/004 of 06 April 2018 ratifying the Memorandum of Understanding on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Cameroon and the Republic of South Africa, signed in Yaounde on 26 September 2006.

Three decrees were equally signed by the Head of State to appoint the following officials:

• Mr. Nang Bipan (Inspector General in-charge of Administrative Affairs) and Mrs. Chendjouo nee Cheriet Khalida Fairouz (Inspector General in-charge of Technical Affairs)  at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development;

• Mr. Etta Mbokaya Ashu and Mr. Nwafua Lawrence Forwang, as the Senior Divisional Officers of Lebialem and Ndian respectively;

• Mr. Hambi Isaac Ekpanekata, Mr. Ewane Jude Mbong, and Mrs. Mbua nee Epolewane Verklin as the Sub-Divisional Officers of Alou, Fontem and Kumba III respectively.
