At the invitation of His Excellency Emmanuel MACRON, President of the French Republic and Mr Thomas BACH, President of the International Olympie Committee, His Excellency Paul BIYA, President of the Republic of Cameroon, left Yaounde today, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Chantal BIYA, to attend the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympie Garnes, on Friday, 26 July 2024. 

The official delegation of the Head of State is composed of the following personalities: 

• Mr Lejeune MBELLA MBELLA, Minister of External Relations;
• Mr Samuel MVONDO AYOLO, Minister, Director of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic;
• Mr Paul ELUNG CHE, Minister, Deputy Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic;
• Mr MOUNOUNA FOUTSOU, Minister ofYouth Affairs and Civic Education;
• Mr Narcisse MOUELLE KOMBI, Minister of Sports and Physical Education;
• Rear Admirai FOUDA Joseph, Special Adviser to the President of the Republic;
• Mr André Magnus EKOUMOU, Ambassador of Cameroon to France;
• Mr Simon Pierre BIKELE, Chief of State Protocol.
