His Excellency Paul BIYA was warmly welcomed on 12 December 2017 by President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysée Palace – where a special lunch was offered to Heads of State and Government – prior to the official opening of the “One Planet Summit” in Paris.

Also present at the Elysée Palace doorstep were: Antonio Guterres – Secretary General of the United Nations; Jim Yong Kim – President of the World Bank; and Mrs. Brigitte Macron.
