Paul BIYA calls for Cooperation in Space Exploration

The Cameroonian leader addressed the first-ever U.S.-Africa Space Forum in Washington D.C. - on the opening day of the second U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. The 13 December 2022 event was organised under the theme: “Strengthening the 21st Century U.S.-Africa Partnership in Space”.

President Paul BIYA made an appeal for the transfer of technology to African countries and an equitable access to space exploration. He said cooperation in the field of space is a crucial imperative.
