2024 FOCAC Summit: Presidential Couple Travels to Beijing

At the invitation of His Excellency Xi JINPING, President of the People's Republic of China, His Excellency Paul BIYA, President of the Republic of Cameroon, left Yaounde late this morning, 2 September 2024, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Chantal BIYA, to attend the 4th Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), in Beijing, China.

The official delegation of the Head of State is composed of the following personalities:

- Mr Joseph BETI ASSOMO, Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence;

- Mr Lejeune MBELLA MBELLA, Minister of External Relations;

- Mr Paul A TANGA NJI, Minister of Territorial Administration

- Mr Samuel MVONDO AYOLO, Minister, Director of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic;

- Mr Emmanuel NGANOU DNJOUMESSI, Minister of Public Works;

- Mr MENGOT Victor ARREY-NKONGHO, Minister Chargé de Mission at the Presidency of the Republic;
