First Lady Chantal BIYA joined her U.S. counterpart First Lady Jill BIDEN at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts on 14 December 2022 - in support of the Biden Administration’s Cancer Moonshot.

Discussions centred on breaking down barriers to cancer prevention, early detection, and care for young women and girls around the world.

The conversation at the REACH was organized as part of the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. It was facilitated by Ambassador John Nkengasong, with over 20 spouses and representatives from the private sector and non-governmental organisations.
