40th Anniversary of the CPDM: the First Lady’s Pitch

Mrs Chantal BIYA, First Lady of Cameroon, was keen to commemorate, in her own way, the 40th anniversary of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), the party founded on 24 March 1985 in Bamenda by her illustrious husband, H.E. Paul BIYA.

Accompanied by some members of the Circle of Friends of Cameroon (CERAC), Mrs Chantal BIYA visited the “Modern Firm of the South”, an agro-pastoral complex owned by the presidential couple.

The First Lady and her guests added to the festive chimes, a facet of the realisations of the “Great Opportunities” policy in this important sector, an essential link in Cameroon’s emergence.
