The Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA signed a very important decree on 17 February 2014 reducing or cancelling the imprisonment terms of some prisoners, as a sign of compassion and in the spirit of national harmony that characterises our country.
This decree falls in line with the constitutional prerogatives of the President of the Republic and comes at the moment the nation is commemorating a very crucial stage of the history of our country.
