Mrs Chantal BIYA, First Lady of Cameroon, was keen to commemorate, in her own way, the 40th anniversary of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), the party founded on 24 March 1985 in Bamenda by her illustrious husband, H.E. Paul BIYA.
Activities
The 40th edition of the International Women’s Day was commemorated in Yaounde, at the 20th May Boulevard, on 8 March 2025.
The founding president of the Circle of Friends of Cameroon (CERAC), First Lady Chantal BIYA, attended the 31st General Assembly of the humanitarian and non-profit association on 16 January 2025.
Mrs Chantal BIYA joined the staff, patients, and children delivered at the Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproductive Teaching Hospital (CHRACERH) on Tuesday 24 December 2024 to celebrate a record 504 births via in vitro fertilisation.
The staff and benefactors of the Chantal BIYA Foundation have rekindled the zeal to ameliorate the welfare of mothers, children and underprivileged persons in Cameroon.
First Lady Chantal BIYA joined pupils, staff, and parents at “Les Coccinelles” School Complex of the Unity Palace on 20 December 2024 to open the festive season with a special Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The First Lady, Mrs Chantal BIYA, was guest of honour at the 15th edition of the Fashion Designers' Forum organised on 23 November 2024 by the Cameroon Centre of Modeling.
