Sick children admitted at the Chantal BIYA Foundation and orphans of the Child First Centre have been showered with multiple Christmas gifts by the patroness of the philanthropic institutions – Mrs Chantal BIYA. This was during a Christmas tree lighting ceremony organised on 24 December 2019.
A group of women who delivered their babies at the Applied Research, Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproduction Hospital Centre (CHRACERH) paid tribute to First Lady Chantal BIYA on 21 December 2019. This was during the traditional tree lighting ceremony at the premises of the institution that became fully operational in 2015.
The 2019 Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at “Les Coccinelles” school complex on 19 December was another opportune occasion for the patroness to commune with the pupils and convey best wishes.
The Circle of Friends of Cameroon (CERAC) – a humanitarian, apolitical and non-profit making group of women founded by First Lady Chantal BIYA – has held its 27th annual general assembly. The confab was organised at CERAC’s headquarters in Yaounde on 17 December 2019.
On 12 November 2019, the First Lady – Mrs Chantal BIYA took part in a working lunch on “Education of the Young Girl”, organised at the Elysee Palace by the spouse of the French President – Mrs Brigitte MACRON. This held on the sidelines of the second Paris Peace Forum.
Cameroon's First Lady, Mrs Chantal BIYA presided over the last stage of the cycling tour, christened after her. This was during a ceremony organised at the 20th May Boulevard on 20 October 2019.
