Anna NGANN YONN, a Cameroonian designer and organiser of the fashion show K-Walk, led a delegation of artists to an audience with First Lady Madam Chantal BIYA at Unity Palace on Thursday 5 November 2015. In attendance at the audience at the East Wing of Unity Palace were a group of models, designers and musicians, all from different backgrounds.

The late Director General of the Ferme Moderne du Sud, Mr. Evariste Bernard MEDOULOU MEDOULOU, was buried in Nanga Eboko on 8 August 2015 in a ceremony that witnessed the attendance of the First Lady Madam Chantal BIYA and several other dignitaries including members of Government, Administrative Authorities and Traditional Rulers.

The First Lady Mrs. Chantal BIYA attended a special event on 11 July 2015 at the Yaounde Conference Centre during which “Miss Cameroon 2015” was selected from a group of young Cameroonian beauties. The UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Education and Social Inclusion encouraged the 24 aspirants as she clapped each time they came out on the podium to display their beauty. This was also an occasion for the wife of the Head of State to reaffirm her support for the culture and youths of Cameroon.

The First Lady Mrs. Chantal BIYA personally presided over festivities to mark the end of year at the Coccinelles school complex at Unity Palace on Tuesday 30 June 2015. The matron and founder of the school handed out gifts to deserving pupils at the ceremony that was full of colour and sound as the children thrilled parents and invitees with a variety of displays.
