Family allowances increase by 55.55%

In keeping with his promise to the Nation in his end of year message on 31 December 2015, the Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA has increased family allowances by 55.55%.

According to Presidential Decree N° 2016/034 of 21 January 2016 bearing on the increase of the amount of family allowances paid to workers, as from 1st January 2016, workers will be paid 2800 Francs per child.
