The President of the Central African Republic, His Excellency Faustin-Archange Touadera was received in audience at Unity Palace on 12 September 2023 by President Paul BIYA.
Both personalities exchanged, for over one hour thirty minutes, on a wide range of issues at the bilateral and sub-regional levels.
H.E. Faustin-Archange Touadera, the designated mediator of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), and current Chair of the CEMAC Heads of State Conference briefed his Cameroonian counterpart on his mission to Libreville, where he met, last week, with all the political stakeholders to ensure the restoration of constitutional order in Gabon and the safety of key officials.
The Head of State and his guest used the late evening meeting to examine avenues of mutual cooperation in a variety of areas including cross-border security and the safe transportation of goods and services between Cameroon and the Central African Republic. This was a follow-up of talks held last April 29 in Yaounde by both leaders.
