The President of the Republic of Cameroon, His Excellency Paul BIYA, announces to the national and international public that the three Religious leaders abducted in Tchéré, Far North Region, in the night of 04 to 05 April 2014, were released to Cameroonian Authorities last night.

Sister Gilberte BUSSIERE and Fathers Giampaolo MARTA and Gianantonio ALLEGRI are safe and sound, and are doing well.

The President of the Republic thanks all those who prayed for this happy outcome.

His Excellency Paul BIYA reaffirms his determination to continue to work relentlessly so that Cameroon can remain a haven of peace, stability, tolerance and progress.
