Eight foreign Diplomats have completed the official accreditation procedure to Cameroon following a solemn ceremony to present Letters of Credence to His Excellency Paul BIYA at Unity Palace on 29 November 2024.
The Head of State received their credentials in the following order:
H.E. Georgiy Todua, Ambassador of the Russian Federation;
H.E. Amnon Kalmar, Ambassador of the State of Israel;
H.E. Alain Leroy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium;
H.E. Vijay Khanduja, High Commissioner of the Republic of India;
H.E. Natalie Kohli, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation;
H.E. Filbert Gleglaud Kouassi Yao, Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire;
H.E. Ibrahim Hamid Alghamedi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia;
H.E. Anthony Minko Milame, High Commissioner of the Gabonese Republic.
President Paul BIYA was assisted by close aides. Those present throughout the diplomatic ritual include the Minister of State, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic – Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh; the Minister of External Relations – Lejeune Mbella Mbella; the Minister, Director of the Civil Cabinet – Samuel Mvondo Ayolo; the Commander of the President’s Special Command – General Emmanuel Amougou; and the Commander of the Presidential Guard – Colonel Raymond Charles Beko’o Abondo.
