The President of the Republic His Excellency Paul BIYA and Mrs. Chantal BIYA were guests at a high level high level dinner at the White House hosted by the American President Barack OBAMA and Mrs. Michelle OBAMA. President BIYA and nearly 50 other African leaders attended the event as part of the activities of the US African leaders Summit holding in the American capital city, Washington D.C.

The Presidential Couple was received at the White House on Tuesday 5 August 2014 by his American counterpart, President Barack OBAMA and the American First Lady Michelle OBAMA. The dinner is a moment of coming together for the American President and his guests from Africa before the three sessions of the Summit meetings scheduled to hold on 6 August 2014 at the State Department.
