The First Lady Madam Chantal BIYA has expressed her thanks to the President of the Republic His Excellency Paul BIYA, on behalf of all the women and children of Cameroon, for the beautiful Hospital Centre for Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproductive Research and Application. Madam Chantal was speaking at the hospital complex in Ngousso during the official inauguration ceremony which she presided on Friday 6 May 2016.
Earlier speakers at the occasion included the Government Delegate to the Yaounde City Council Gilbert NTSIMI EVOUNA, who read the welcome speech and the General Manager of the Hospital Centre, Dr. Jean Marie KASIA, who gave a general presentation of the establishment.
The Minister of Public Health Andre MAMA FOUDA was full of gratitude to the First Lady for all the projects she has carried out in the country in favour of women and children. He also thanked the Head of State for his constant and firm commitment for the health of Cameroonians as this has been at the centre of his policy since 1982. The Minister revealed the building of other reference hospitals for mother and child care in the towns of Baffousam, Ebolowa and Garoua.
