On Monday 5 November 2018, First Lady Chantal BIYA paid a surprise visit to the Applied Research, Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproduction Hospital Centre, better known by the French acronym CHRACERH.
The Head of State’s wife interacted with each mother and her new-born baby – present at the centre based in Yaounde. Among those visited was a 62-year-old woman who successfully gave birth last week. It was announced that she became pregnant through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) technique.
Mrs Chantal BIYA equally congratulated the staff of CHRACERH for their outstanding commitment.
