The busy schedule of the Head of State also included an audience with Mr. BEKIR BOZDAG, the Vice Prime Minister of Turkey, who was accompanied by the Turkish Ambassador to Cameroon, Omer FARUK DOGAN. The Turkish Vice-Prime Minister is in Cameroon as part of the on-going intense cooperation ties between the two countries.
Speaking to the press after the audience, the Vice-Prime Minister said that the state visit of President Paul BIYA to Turkey in March 2013 marked an important mile stone in the relations between Turkey and Cameroon. He announced that a flurry of Turkish investments is soon coming to Cameroon to further strengthen the cooperation ties between both countries.
Mr. BEKIR BOZDAG is in Cameroon to inaugurate a professional school built in Maroua by his country, as part of a big project that will also see the construction of a higher institute of learning in Yaoundé for the training of trainers.
