The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, and First Lady Chantal BIYA left Paris on 5 August 2024, following their participation at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.

The Head of State and his spouse were in the French capital at the invitation of President Emmanuel MACRON.
