The Chantal BIYA International Cycling tournament had a memorable stop in Meyomessala as First Lady Madam Chantal BIYA personally attended a reception offered in their honour at the town hall.
The cyclists and officials were overjoyed to see the wife of the Head of State who shook hands with all the delegations that took part in the cycling tournament. She also had several photo opportunities with the athletes and officials. The First Lady congratulated and gave encouragement to Clovis Kamzong Abossolo, who lost the yellow jersey as a result of two breakdowns that derailed his performance in the last lap of the tournament.
