Following the crash of the Airbus A320 of the Germanwings airline on Tuesday 24 March 2015 in the Digne-Les Bains Region of France, the Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA sent a message of condolences to:

-Joachim Gauck, President of the Federal Republic of Germany;
-Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.
