The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, and First Lady Chantal BIYA left Beijing on 8 September 2024.
Their departure marks the end of a brilliant stay in the Chinese capital, where the Head of State participated at the 4th Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), at the invitation of President Xi JINPING.
The historic gathering was organised from 4-6 September under the theme: "Joining Hands to Advance Modernisation and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future".
