The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, and First Lady Chantal BIYA left Paris on 5 August 2024, following their participation at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
At the invitation of His Excellency Emmanuel MACRON, President of the French Republic and Mr Thomas BACH, President of the International Olympie Committee, His Excellency Paul BIYA, President of the Republic of Cameroon, left Yaounde today, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Chantal BIYA, to attend the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympie Garnes, on Friday, 26 July 2024.

Honourable CAVAYE YEGUIE DJIBRIL, the Prime Minister Chief Dr. DION NGUTE and other dignitaries flanking the President of the Republic on the grand stand. The First Lady Madam Chantal BIYA was firmly seated by her husband to give him all the necessary support.
