The Swiss Confederation has expressed its readiness to support national initiatives that can lead to lasting peace in Cameroon. This was disclosed after an audience granted by President Paul BIYA to His Excellency Pietro Lazzeri, the Swiss Ambassador to Cameroon on 4 April 2019.
The President of the Republic His Excellency Paul BIYA granted audience this Wednesday 27 March 2019 to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, H.E. Anatoliy Bashkine. During the audience that lasted over two hours, the two personalities reviewed the friendly cooperation ties between the two countries. They also discussed the invitation from the Russian President Vladimir Putin to President Paul BIYA to attend the Africa – Russia Summit scheduled to take place later this year.
The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA granted an audience to Mr Tibor Nagy, the Assistant Secretary for U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs. Both personalities met at the Unity Palace on 18 March 2019.
The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA has received a special message from Pope FRANCIS. This was delivered by the Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, Monseigneur Julio MURAT on 18 March 2019 during an audience at the Unity Palace.

The Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA granted audience to CHEIKH TALIBY SYLLA, Guinean Minister of Energy and Hydrology and special envoy of President Alpha Conde, on Friday 26 October 2018 at Unity Palace. He came along with a message of congratulations from Alpha Conde to President Paul BIYA following his brilliant re-election during the 7 October presidential election.
