As a follow up to the emergency development plan, the Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA granted audience to ALAMI LAZRAK of Alliances group, Leon KOFFI KONAN of the Atlantic Bank group and LAHCEN SAILE, Moroccan Ambassador to Cameroon who accompanied these officials to Unity Palace.

Shortly after their discussions with President Paul BIYA, the Alliances group assured the press that they were ready to accompany the Government of Cameroon in its emergency development plan. ALAMI LAZRAK announced their intention to construct 8 hospitals in Cameroon and to construct facilities in the hospitals for the hospital staff. 

The company is taking up the health sector component of the emergency development plan and all the funding required is available. It should be recalled that the President of the Republic signed a decree on 10 December 2014 authorising the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional development to sign a convention of 190 billion Francs with Atlantic Bank Cameroon for the financing of the emergency plan.
