The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, granted an audience, on 4 November 2016, to Jean Gulbenk Gurunlian, Chairman of the Webb Fontaine Holding SA

Top on the agenda was the presentation of an innovative e-commerce service to simplify shipment procedures at the Kribi Deep Sea port. The Head of State exchanged views with his guest on the feasibility of this new approach in Cameroon.

Mr Jean Gurunlian said the new control tool has an upgraded performance against port-related fraud. He promised to transfer his expertise to the Cameroon Customs, which is currently using the SYDONIA system that he developed.
